In the late 1930s, San Luis Valley skiers headed to the top of Wolf Creek Pass in droves every winter to delight in epic amounts of snowfall. Nearly eighty years later and what is now Wolf Creek Ski Area is still hosting outdoor enthusiasts as one of the last family-owned ski mountains in the country.
